Talking to Alex, Anna, and Anthony (AAA)

As always, there is a lot of catching up to do, but this will be just a quick update before I forget some of the recent funny things you've done.

First, Anthony, you are talking so much now, and of course, I torture you daily with questions about school and such. A couple of days ago, this is how it went.

Me: "What pet do you have in Ms. Laura's classroom?"
Anthony ignores me
Me: "Is it a hamster?
Anthony: "No!"
Me: "Guinea pig?"
Anthony: "Noo!"
Me: "Well, what is it then?"
Anthony: "A Dominick!"

I just hope Dominick doesn't know that's what Anthony thinks of him...

Then, last night, the following little conversation occurred near the end of dinner at the "Golden Crab" as the "Golden Corral" is now lovingly referred to in our family. Alex is eating ice cream, generously topped with candy.

Alex: "Yuck. This ice cream tastes like liquor now."
Us: "What?"
Alex: "This ice cream tastes like liquor."
Boyana: "And how, exactly, do you know what liquor tastes like?"
...Alex: "Like the black jelly beans...."
Me: "That's licorice."
Alex: "Okay."
Me: "There's a difference."
Alex: "Okay."

Now it's Anna's turn, I guess.
